This is a clinical tool to evaluate binaural integration in native Tamil-speaking adults. The test utilizes 20 pairs of rhyming, bi-syllabic words presented dichotically at 60 dB HL to assess the central auditory nervous system. Scoring is based on single correct, double correct, and ear correct responses, which are compared against established norms to identify Central Auditory Processing Disorders (CAPD). This standardized assessment helps clinicians determine cerebral dominance for speech and detect deficits in auditory performance under competing acoustic signals.
