This test to evaluate binaural integration and screen for Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD). The test utilizes 25 pairs of rhyming, bi-syllabic Malayalam words presented dichotically to subjects at 60 dB HL to determine ear dominance and processing efficiency. Performance is measured through single correct, double correct, and ear correct scores, providing essential normative data for native Malayalam-speaking adults. This standardized tool helps clinicians identify auditory deficits by comparing individual performance against established clinical norms.
