This is a clinical tool designed to assess linguistic deficits in Telugu-speaking adults aged 18 and above. Developed to address the need for native-language assessments in the Indian context, it evaluates six core domains: spontaneous speech, auditory verbal comprehension, repetition, naming, reading, and writing. The screening tool is intended for use during the initial post-acute stages of recovery, providing a quantitative profile of a person's strengths and weaknesses to predict deviations from normalcy. Originally developed as a Master's dissertation at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, the test was standardized on both neurotypical participants and individuals with stroke to establish baseline normative data.
