Established in 1965 along with the institute, AIISH Library has developed in consonance with development of the institute itself both in it's scope and size and has acquired a collection of 17300 books and is currently subscribing to 16 print, 48 print with online journals  & 14 online journals. Through this portal, AIISH Library & Information Centre is on its way to becoming an outstanding learning resource centre catering to the ever growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, faculty, researchers and caregivers in the field of communication disorders across the globe.

This portal has been developed with a mission of integrating and aggregating the existing collections and services with an outstanding client interface, capable of embracing almost all the popular digital standards and formats and software platforms, in line with the underlying digital library technologies in vogue. As a first step in realizing this mission, all in-house repositories of AIISH such as Journal of AIISH, Proceedings of workshops / seminars / conferences, Ph.D. theses, Reports of in-house Research Projects, Dissertations of PG students etc totaling at present to about one million pages are made available through this portal to everyone across the globe. The portal will also show case the research work done at AIISH and will enable extensive research in different areas of communication disorders.
